This is an evergreen Blood Orange with a neat compact growth habit. The foliage is a lovely rich green which holds its colour all year round. Petite white fragrant blooms appear in mid to late Winter. Following the blooms, large rounded orange fruits with thin skin develop. The flesh is a brilliant blood red and is very juicy, excellent flavour! Harvest ripe fruits in mid to late Spring. Depending on the climate this can affect the flesh colour, colder climates the fruit will have less red pigments. Ideal eaten fresh, in drinks or used in cooking. Fertilise Blood Oranges throughout the peak growing seasons. Low water requirements through Winter, however, keep the tree well-watered throughout Summer.
