A cactus flowered dahlia with deep burgundy red flowers with a hint of purple towards the centre and on the petal ends. A popular variety that flowers prolifcally on long, strong stems. Plants are perennial and 1m tall; they flower prolifically from summer to autumn. Use in borders, beds or as an excellent cut flower.
Cactus dahlias have fully double flowers with narrow rolled petals that taper towards the tip. Cactus dahlia flowers are less likely to be weighed down by rain so plants may not need staking.
Supplied as a dormant tuber.
